ABOUT MY BLOG !

Hello, world! Welcome to my blog!
WHO AM I? WHY AM I WRITING THIS? WHAT AM I WRITING ABOUT?
These might be some of the questions running through your mind. I hope this page will answer all your questions.

First, who am I?
I am Mohammed Kamran Masoodi, born in 1999 in Hyderabad, India. Okay, that might be too much history, so let me give you a brief description of what I do.

I am currently working as a Business Intelligence Consultant in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with expertise in tools like Qlik Sense and QlikView. Recently, I started wearing the hat of a Data Engineer to better equip myself for future endeavors. This shift was inspired by Qlik's recent advancements in data integration, including the launch of tools like 'Replicate' for data replication and 'Compose' for data warehouse creation. Moreover, Qlik's acquisition of Talend, a legendary player in the data integration domain, further solidified my interest in exploring these tools.

In short, I am a lifelong learner and a passionate student of data.

Second, why am I writing this?
As I mentioned earlier, I am an avid learner and a passionate student of data. One of my many ambitions is to share my ideas and contribute to the community while continuously exploring new things. I truly believe this blog will help me establish myself and provide a platform to showcase my ideas to the world.

My hope is that at least one person might benefit from this blog—whether by implementing my methods or by offering me constructive feedback to improve in areas where I fall short. Or perhaps, I’m just a bit tired of the corporate race and needed a creative outlet! 😉

Finally, what will I be writing about?
I’ll be writing about anything and everything related to data (as if I haven’t already mentioned at least 2-3 times that I’m a lifelong student of data! 😊). My focus will span topics like Analytics, Data Engineering, and maybe even Data Science in the future.

I’ll primarily cover tools I specialize in, including Qlik Sense, QlikView, Replicate, Compose, SQL, Talend, and more, presenting them in a simplified way. This approach will make it easier for me to communicate ideas effectively to a wider audience and ensure I can post regularly without overcommitting and underperforming. My goal is to share at least one or more posts every month, drawn from my personal experiences and insights.

So, I invite you all to buckle up for this blogging journey—and, of course, I’ll remind myself to stay consistent and make it happen! Let’s get started!
